Return Period
You have 21 days from the date you receive your item to request a return or exchange.
Returns must be requested within this timeframe and approved before being sent back.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Custom-made products
- Special finish products
- Products cut to size at customer request
- Installed or used items
Change of Mind Returns
We accept change of mind returns provided that:
- Items are unused
- Items are in original packaging
- Items are in the same condition as supplied
- Proof of purchase (tax invoice) is provided
- Items are returned within 21 days
A minimum restocking fee of 10% of the product purchase value applies to all change of mind returns.
The restocking fee will be waived if you are exchanging the item for another product.
Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to a mistake on our part, such as a faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied item.
If an order was supplied with free freight, the original freight cost incurred by Subiaco Restoration may be deducted from the refund amount where goods are returned.
Refunds will be processed once returned items have been received, inspected and approved. Any applicable restocking or freight deductions will be applied to the refund total.
Faulty or Damaged Items
If you receive a damaged or faulty item, please contact us immediately at sales@subirest.com.au with clear photos and a brief description of the issue. Our team will assess the claim and advise the next steps for return or replacement.
Refunds
Once returned products are received and inspected, we will process refunds back to the original payment method. You will receive email confirmation once your refund is complete. Alternatively, you may choose to hold the refund on account for future use.

We recommend waiting for confirmation (Return Authorisation) before posting your return.
Please pack returns securely using appropriate protective packaging. Items damaged in transit as a result of inadequate packaging may not be eligible for refund or exchange.
Warranties
Many products supplied by Subiaco Restoration are covered by manufacturer warranties.
Warranty claims are assessed in accordance with the relevant manufacturer’s terms and Australian Consumer Law.
If you believe a product is faulty outside of the initial 21-day return period, please contact us at sales@subirest.com.au with your proof of purchase and details of the issue so we can assist.

Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
