Slow combustion or open fire
Slide the frameless guillotine door upwards for an open hearth-fire; slide it down for efficient radiant warmth or leave partially open if you please. Thanks to an ingenious door mechanism with a removable handle and a fully retractable glass door, Stuv 21 is a true two in one fireplace for those wanting to alternate between the pure enjoyment of an open fire and the satisfaction of a high efficiency slow combustion appliance.
Unimpeded view of the fire
Regardless of the position of the door, there is no frame to impede your view of the flame. The unique fully retractable guillotine door also tilts open for easy cleaning and all parts of the fireplaces are able to be serviced through the inside of the hearth. As well as a stunning fireplace Stuv 21 is also a very clever piece of engineering.
Ready-to-install signature cladding
Stuv 21 fireplace inserts can be integrated into new builds or installed when major renovations are undertaken. Where this isn’t possible, a number of ready-to-install cladding and fascia options are available in many colours and finishes, transforming your fireplace into a focal point that requires no major masonry or carpentry work. Stuv 21 is an insert that can become a freestanding fireplace in a flash.

Stûv 6 is named after the characteristic shape of its inside profile. Stûv’s designers have strived to achieve the most effective shape for the natural circulation of air. The shape of the numeral six has disguised the complexity of the technical design.
